Last Chapters is a new Web site that offers an opportunity for people dealing with life-threatening illness, death, and grief to share their experiences with others in similar situations. Created by the Partnership for Caring with funding from Last Acts and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, it offers stories and interviews, resources, and ideas for improving end-of-live care. Above all, readers are encouraged to break through their isolation and loneliness by joining the site's discussion groups.
The cross-cultural, cross-disease Web site is divided into eight sections: care giving, spirituality, grief, talking about dying, living with dying, hospice, AIDS, and the deaths of children. It may be accessed at: www.lastchapters.org.
