Abstract

Hyaline globules and “raspberry bodies” constitute key cytomorphologic features for diagnosing rare cases of clear cell carcinoma of the ovary and endometrium presenting with malignant effusion. Naspin A is a useful immunohistochemical marker for confirming a diagnosis of clear cell carcinoma of the female reproductive tract, especially on cell blocks.
