It is shown how to derive the recently introduced conditionally solvable Natanzon potentials in the framework of the Schrödinger's formulation of quantum mechanics. Their relation to the exactly solvable potentials is considered. It is shown that in this way the variety of conditionally solvable potentials can be obtained. The relationship between the Natanzon potentials and shape invariant ones is derived.
