Incompatibility of Bianchi type III space time in scale invariant theory

It is shown here that the development of scale invariant theory of gravitation is not possible when (a) the space time is governed by diagonal Bianchi type III metric (b) the gauge function β depends on the time coordinate only (Dirac gauge) and (c) the energy momentum tensor is that of a perfect fluid.
