Abstract

Urosepsis develops from urinary tract infections and is usually associated with obstructive uropathy disease. The early treatment of urosepsis includes adjunctive therapy, control of the complicating factor and adequate empirical antibacterial therapy. The selection of an appropriate antibacterial agent should consider the minimal inhibitory concentration and plasma concentrations of the drug, together with its actual renal excretion and urinary bactericidal activity
