Abstract

This article provides a brief summary of recent evidence concerning the cardiovascular (CV) adverse effects of selected drugs. CV problems associated with some drugs has led to the use of these drugs being restricted or withdrawn, whereas adverse CV outcomes do not appear to be associated with other agents, despite previous concerns. Further data are needed to confirm the specific CV issues of several other drugs.
