Abstract

Hypoglycaemia is a well known adverse event of antidiabetic therapy, with non-antidiabetic drugs also having the potential to lower blood glucose levels. While drug-induced hypoglycaemia can be severe and result in significant morbidity, it can be prevented and/or minimized with awareness and the judicious use and close monitoring of suspected agents.
