Abstract

Although CNS stimulants are highly effective in reducing the core symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, some patients have a less than adequate response. Several options are available for the management of these patients, including a switch of stimulant class, adjunctive therapy with non-stimulants and non-stimulant monotherapy.
