EVIDENCE-BASED ANSWERPhysical activity and midlife fitness is associated with a lower risk of dementia (SOR: B, meta-analysis and cohort study). Multidimensional lifestyle modification, including exercise, minimally reduces risk of cognitive decline (SOR: B, RCT).
