Abstract

EVIDENCE-BASED ANSWERIn premenopausal women with female sexual interest/arousal disorder (FSIAD), flibanserin marginally increases the number of satisfying sexual events per month and minimally improves desire, while significantly increasing dizziness, somnolence, nausea, and fatigue (SOR: B, meta-analysis of low-quality RCTs). Adverse events of flibanserin increase when combined with alcohol (SOR: C, small RCT).
