EVIDENCE-BASED ANSWER

In children with atopic dermatitis, bleach baths may decrease the need for topical corticosteroid use by 1 day per week (SOR: C, small RCT). However, the direct effect of bleach baths on disease severity is unclear (no SOR, conflicting small RCTs).
