Abstract

Mini-Abstract

We present a case of a 57-year-old man with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and an incidental finding of a left atrial mass. The case highlights the use of multimodality imaging to help characterize the mass. These included cardiac MRI, transthoracic echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) with three-dimensional imaging. The use of three-dimensional TEE best defined the morphologic appearance and attachment of the mass. (Echocardiography 2013;30:E111-E113).
