To study of the relationship between serum Angiotensin-(1–7) and cardiac remodelling in patients with congenital heart diseaseMethods
90 patients with congenital heart disease and 30 normal control patients were collected, The patients with non-cardiac remodelling group are 69 cases, The patients with cardiac remodelling group are 21 cases according to echocardiogram. The serum level of Ang-(1–7) protein levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS 17.0 software. All data are presented as mean ± standard deviation and were compared using the ANOVA. A p value <0.05 was considered statistically significant.Result
The Ang-(1–7) protein levels in plasma measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay were (17.39 ± 1.33) pg/ml, (21.73 ± 3.91) pg/ml, (12.52 ± 1.85) pg/ml in normal control group, congenital heart disease with non-cardiac remodelling group, congenital heart disease with cardiac remodelling group. The levels of Ang-(1–7) protein levels showed significantly difference among the three groups (p < 0.05).Conclusions
Ang-(1–7) protein levels in the patients with congenital heart disease combined with cardiac remodelling have significantly decreased.
