Abstract

Infections with Pseudomonas mendocina have rarely been reported. P. mendocina seems to be a less virulent and less resistant organism compared to P. aeruginosa. We present a case of P. mendocina bacteremia likely secondary to cellulitis and a brief review of P. mendocina infections reported in the literature.
