Abstract

Using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method in the Cartesian coordinate system, the coupling characteristics of some self-shielded coplanar waveguides (SCPWs), such as rectangular, V-shape, and trapezoidal geometries are studied in this paper. The hybrid effects of different geometrical parameters of several SCPW configurations on the coupling coefficient are examined and compared.
