SummaryA 52-year-old woman underwent a hysterectomy for a large tumor of the uterine cervix that was shown to be a xanthomatous leiomyosarcoma (LMS) by histologie examination, the first example of this tumor in this site. Two previous similar tumors have been reported in the uterine corpus.
