Abstract

Compared attitudes of members of 2 public organizations and the nonmembers for whom they were competing in a representation election. Analysis of data from 322 employees showed significant differences between the members of the 2 employee organizations but not between the more conservative employee organization members and the nonmembers. A discriminant analysis suggested where the election winner could best find potential for growth. (14 ref) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)
