This paper discusses a new four-year teacher education curriculum for biomedical electronics technology education. Technical education system, biomedical engineering education and technician level biomedical equipment technology education in Turkey are briefly explained. According to State Planning Organization reports, 860 biomedical engineers and 3,100 biomedical technicians will be needed by the end of this century. There are only seven schools for technician-level education. But, it is very difficult problem for those schools to find teachers to teach biomedical equipment technology. A teacher education curriculum has been designed and developed to overcome that problem.
