PURPOSE/QUESTION

The purpose of this study was to compare the long-term (6 months) clinical and microbiological effects of an experimental CPC mouth rinse with that of a commercially available and widely used EO mouth rinse in an unsupervised, uncontrolled 6-month randomized clinical trial.

TYPE OF STUDY/DESIGN

This is a parallel randomized 2-group study that had no negative control.
