PURPOSE/QUESTION

This retrospective analysis evaluated the effects of gender, phase of injection (needle insertion, needle positioning, and anesthetic deposition), and whether anesthetic was administered during the needle positioning phase on reported pain levels while administering local anesthetic via inferior alveolar nerve block in patients with irreversible pulpitis.
