In this study increased the likelihood of hypertension among older age, obese ,alcohol consumption, cigarette smoker, mainly in house wife,and those had family history . . Essential hypertension was common among the study population. Ca blockers were the most common agent used in treatment of hypertension. Moderate awareness about complications of HT among study population and the most complication was retinopathy.Conclusions:
There was low control rate among the study population because their little awareness towards complication of hypertension, and they had no good follow up and not adhered to good antihypertensive protocol to reach goal of blood pressure control.
