Abstract

Objectives:

Establish assessment system for chronic diseases management on cerebrovascular disease in Beijing.

Methods:

Select 10 neurologic medicine professors and 10 general medicine experts at major/community hospitals, we carried out two rounds of expert consultation by Delphic expert method, aiming at identify the indexes constituting the basic framework for prevention and treatment on cerebral apoplexy in Beijing.

Results:

76 evaluation indexes, including 2 primary indexes, 12 second level indexes, and 62 third level indexes, were screened out. Weight of each index was determined respectively. Finally, the assessment index system for chronic diseases management on cerebrovascular disease in Beijing community was established. Meanwhile, the differences in the concepts of management and prevention on stroke by experts from hospitals of major/community were gradually emerged.

Conclusion:

The assessment index system established by Delphic method are to some extent effective in rationality and maneuverability. It also exposes the differences and deficiencies in the chronic diseases management on cerebrovascular disease of major/community hospitals.
