Abstract

The authors describe the process used to incorporate gaming into a level “A” cardiopulmonary resuscitation course. Needs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases are presented. Staff development instructors can use gaming, an interactive means of instruction, to teach a level “A” cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Heartsaver) course.
