The ability to construct a facial moulage is a valuable skill which should be in the armamentarium of every facial plastic surgeon. Recently, there appears to have been a lessening of interest in teaching this skill. Many descriptions of this task have not been adequate to meet the needs of a surgeon, who wished to construct a moulage, without previous training in this technique.
This paper has been written in the hope of filling this void. It will enable one to construct good facial moulages. This technique is simple, practical and useful. It is important to realize that multiple techniques have been used by different people for many years.
