Abstract

Different ways of obtaining an instrument for the particle diagnostics of two-phase flow using time division of the signals of the scattering orders of light – reflection, refraction and higher-order effects are reviewed. Versions of an instrument which uses side and back scattering are considered, and also the possibility of constructing instruments based on time-of-flight and Doppler anemometers.
