Abstract

Introduction

Mental Health Practice aims to inform and encourage critical reflection among mental health nurses and others working in mental health care by publishing articles that have clear implications for clinical practice. We are always keen to receive material for the journal.

Introduction

Submissions can be literature reviews, original research, descriptions of practice or case studies. We will consider features and shorter items, such as details of forthcoming conferences, information about people moving posts or new projects.

Introduction

Articles should be informative, have something new to say or offer a fresh approach to an old subject, challenge current thought or practice, or review current thinking. One of the best ways of understanding how to write articles is to read a selection of those already published in MHP. We also regularly publish opinion pieces, letters and articles on career development, and we are keen to highlight the views of service users and carers. If you wish to submit a ‘continuing professional development’ article, please contact the editor beforehand to discuss topics.
