Abstract

A traumatic disc herniation at a young age can be confused with an epidural hematoma. Therefore, caution should be exercised in approaching such cases. In this report, we describe a case of a traumatic disc herniated mass in a young adult mimicking an epidural hematoma. Radiologists and spine surgeons should be aware of this possibility when approaching traumatic disc herniation.
