An initiative was developed to address local issues and key lessons in the Francis report by listening to patients. Targeting the views of all parties can help teams provide responsive high-quality care that reflects on, and learns from, people using and delivering the service. This article details how it can be implemented in a range of settings and adapted to target the views of staff, patients and specific operational issues.
