Many patients who have undergone cesarean delivery prefer nonpharmacological interventions, such as abdominal compression devices, for pain management. However, the use of these interventions is currently based on preference with little or no evidence-based supporting data. The authors of the present study thus evaluated the effectiveness of an abdominal binder on managing post-cesarean delivery pain and distress in patients.
