A transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block anesthetizes the abdominal wall from T6 to L1 and is often used on patients recovering from a variety of abdominal surgeries. This case report describes the use of a TAP block to manage abdominal wall pain in a pregnant patient, something which has not been reported until now.
