Abstract

(Obstet Gynecol. 2016;128(5):1127–1133)The risk of Down syndrome in twin pregnancies is not well established, although some studies suggest that it may be lower. The authors of the present study designed a large retrospective cohort study and compared the observed incidence of Down syndrome in women with twins with the incidence expected based on zygosity and maternal age-matched singletons.
