(Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand 2017;96:1214–1222)Research on postpartum urinary incontinence (UI) has yielded contradictory results regarding delivery parameters as risk factors for developing this condition. Clear identification of risk factors could be useful for understanding the mechanisms by which UI develops postpartum as well as potentially decreasing the risk of UI if modifiable risk factors are found. The current study used data from a large population-based cohort study to investigate the association between both single risk factors and combinations of risk factors and the development of UI.
