How Psychiatric Disability Expresses Itself as a Barrier to Employment

This paper identifies and briefly reviews a series of factors that act as barriers to the successful rehabilitation of persons with psychiatric disabilities. It examines the scope of the problem, and then discusses the factors which directly or indirectly impede employment opportunities for this group. Finally, it briefly considers some recent developments which may help produce more positive results in the future.
