Development of a clinical child psychology training program

Abstract

Growing interest in clinical child psychology has led to concern for appropriate training for the field. An example is presented of a graduate-level specialty training program that is heavily based on a scientist-practitioner model, that integrates clinical and developmental psychology perspectives, and that responds to expanded roles for clinical child psychologists.
