Abstract

Reviews the role of the psychologist in a rehabilitation medicine setting, with emphasis on the application of traditional clinical and counseling skills to psychological problems encountered by the physically disabled. Briefly reviewed are the rehabilitation perspective, issues of adaptation and personality, psychodiagnostic and psychotherapeutic consultation, and behavioral principles.
