Reviews the book, The science game: An introduction to research in the behavioral sciences. 2nd ed by Neil McK Agnew and Sandra W. Pyke (1978). The present edition contains five new chapters. The new chapters are on (1) unobtrusive measures and issues of external validity, (2) the relationship between measurement scales and research designs, (3) an introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics, (4) report writing, and (5) ethics.
