Originally published in Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books, 1998, Vol 43(4), 253-255. The reviewer states that this book (see record 1997-97496-000) provides a remarkably comprehensive biography filled with new material obtained from interviews and a long-standing exchange of letters with Chomsky. Using photographs and quotes from these letters, which are probably the closest thing to a Chomsky autobiography, Barsky makes Chomsky the person more visible than ever before.
