Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) continues to be a major contributor to maternal mortality in both developed and emerging countries worldwide. Great efforts and impressive strides have been made to lower the risks associated with PPH. Although improvements in mortality rates from PPH have been experienced, we must continue vigilance, explore therapies, and share our collective experiences and opinions in order to accelerate continued improvements.
