Currently, the most common medication used for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in Turkey and worldwide is methylphenidate (MPH), which is a potent dopamine and noradrenergic reuptake inhibitor.1 In this case, it was reported that MPH has a the possible effect on thrombocytopenia in a patient in whom MPH was initiated.
