Abstract

Metastatic involvement of the colon is extremely rare. We report a 63-year-old man with colonic metastasis from esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Whole-body 18F-FDG PET/CT showed abnormal tracer uptakes in the sigmoid colon, which was subsequently confirmed as metastatic from esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
