Lumbar Back Pain Secondary to Spondylolysis
A 13-year-old state champion wrestler presented to orthopedics with complaint of lumbar back pain. He reported pain with both extension and flexion, which was relieved by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and rest. On physical examination, he had pain with bending forward and with hyperextension to the right, as well as a positive stork test on the right. No pain was reported with hyperextension on the left.
