Get the lead out: Responding to unplanned change
GENERAL PURPOSE: To provide information about managing an unexpected change (high levels of lead in the tap water of a medical center) through transformational leadership. LEARNING OBJECTIVES/OUTCOMES: After completing this continuing-education activity, you should be able to: 1. Recognize characteristics of transformational leadership and the processes used in responding to the unexpected change. 2. Identify key factors that led to a successful resolution of the unexpected change.
