The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), along with several other organizations, calls for full disclosure of author contributions, competing interests, and peer review to assure readers that what they are reading has been vetted by the scientific community (https://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines-new/principles-transparency-and-best-practice-scholarly-publishing) We have been providing some of that information on our articles and it is time to make a commitment to consistent and full disclosure on all our articles. There are many ways to implement these disclosures, some we are doing and some we are not. What follows is a proposal to continue what we are doing and ideas for implementing corrections to what is missing.
