We read with great interest the article by Saleh et al (1), in a recent issue of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and would like to congratulate the authors for taking up such a relevant but difficult subject for research and coming up with authentic results and perceived limitations of the study. I read other articles related to the subject by Drs. Bolignano and Otto (as recommended by the author) as well, along with the International Surviving Sepsis Campaign Guidelines.
