The Baker formula of 55% phenol/2.1% croton oil is unquestionably a deeper agent than 88% phenol alone, previously substantiated in the literature.1 The author's results are probably explained in re–spot-peeling at such a close time interval of 1 month when at least 3 months are necessary for histologic healing and remodeling.2 The clinical illustration shows improvement enough to show results with this technique, which is an addition to the literature. Their spot technique and time interval of repeeling in some patients that may be Glogau III can show good improvement. There are not enough illustrations to verify whether Glogau III or IV would benefit the most, and the author wisely does state that a larger series would be helpful.
