Abstract

Stability and 40 h life tests of modified Ni/α-Al2O3 catalysts for refinery gas/air/H2O (g) were carried out by a flow-reactor and XRD. The results indicate that the resistance to carbon deposition, activity and stability of Ni/α-Al2O3 catalyst promoted by La and Pt is improved. However, the modifications with Li, Mg and Ce accelerate carbon deposition over Ni/α-Al2O3.
