The objective of this study was to compare the effects of dopamine and epinephrine on 28-day mortality in pediatric cases involving severe sepsis. Secondary outcomes were the rate of infection in a health care setting, the need for additional vasoactive drugs, and patients' multiple organ dysfunction scores.
