Abstract

Central retinal vein occlusion is a common blinding disease that has received considerable attention during the past several decades. Current proven therapies provide only modest visual benefits, and a definite need for improved treatment strategies exists. Three newer approaches to the management of this disorder are presented, with specific attention paid to the technical aspects of each procedure.
