Abstract

Arthroscopy has been utilized since the late 1800s to evaluate and treat joint pathology. With advances in technology, the number of procedures and the specific joints on which these are performed have also increased. As with other advancements in medicine, complications are associated with arthroscopy. The article discusses general and joint-specific complications associated with arthroscopy.
